Street photography is probably the toughest, most diverse and without doubt most exciting of all photography genres. The challenge is to capture moments and freeze time in interesting ways in situations that can pass in an instant. I like to look out for humans in relation to their environment, whether they match, fit in or stand out, but also love shooting quirky moments if I'm lucky enough to capture them. I love black and white but colour rocks when you get it right! Teaching street photography workshops means I not only help other photographers train their brains to see opportunities for images, but I also get to explore new street photography themes.
