Small group workshops
Check out London's best street photography Meetup: STREET CLUB (formerly know as London Street Photography)
I organise and host mini workshops in London; days out to places like Hastings, West Wittering and Dungeness; and awesome street photography weekends in kick ass European cities! I believe that street photography workshops should be affordable and accessible so you don't need much dosh or a Leica - just a few quid, one good eye and something that can shoot pictures!
Since its inception the group has grown into a little community that attracts a great bunch of friendly photographers who keep coming back for more. Each Meetup is in workshop format with themed projects where it's all about composition and creativity, rather than the technical side, so you can start shooting with your phone! We start with photography and end in a pub for a bit of a social. You can do it for fun or you can get feedback on work uploaded to the group page after each workshop. Join us!

"A fantastic weekend with a fab group of individuals. The build up of tasks led into each other perfectly, a very logical journey. I learnt loads. This was my favourite workshop ... I say that every time! Always return with a buzz and armed with more knowledge. Thank you so much Polly for another fantastic workshop. Already signed up for the next - even though unsure of what and where it will be. And thanks to all attendees who made it awesome (that’s all of you)."

"I attended quite a few meetings organized by Polly, and I confess that I find them very addictive :-) The formula is just perfect, with "assignments" that are always very interesting and challenging, but at the same time suitable for any level of experience. Her examples are always very inspiring, and she's also helpful with hints and advice during the session and on the photos we post later. Above all, however, the most valuable part is the friendly environment that Polly is able to create every time, making you feel in a group of good friends sharing the same passion."

"Polly is incredibly friendly, encouraging and has a passion for what she does. The session itself was absolutely fantastic. With a series of exercises and immediate feedback and support this was an outstanding experience. It truly changed my view and I had to step out of my comfort zone a couple of times. The day with Polly was a real boost to my confidence and very inspirational. I can absolutely recommend Polly. 5 stars!"
- Bettina booked me for a 1:1 photography workshop.
"Well, what a great weekend this was! Having been to Lisbon with Polly before I had high expectations and they were easily met and exceeded. Fabulous town, great organisation, good weather, fun company, crap jokes, canas and tapas, Bish, pandas (in jokes!), what more could one want from a weekend away. I particularly liked the way the individual photography “workshops” were structured this time, building on composition principles from the “simpler ones” (yeah right!) to more complex ones later in the weekend. I found it challenging and although a lot of it was out of my comfort zone, don’t they say that’s where you learn the most?! Anyway, did I mention the tapas?
Thank you all and mostly thank you Polly for the wonderful weekend, still buzzing."
